Beloved,
I am
excited
to share
with you
the
Redemption
Baptist
Church
Youth
Ministry's
Gen X
project.
A few
decades
ago In a
sign of
bewilderment
close to
despair
sociologists
dubbed
our
generations
as
Generation
X & Y.
"Generation
X" has
always
signified
a group
of young
people,
seemingly
without
identity,
who face
an
uncertain,
ill-defined
(and
perhaps
hostile)
future".

Little
did they
know
there's
another
meaning
to "X"
in the
words of
R.C.
Sproul:
"...We
see the
English
letter X
there,
but
actually
what it
involves
is the
first
letter
of the
Greek
name for
Christ.
Christos
is the
New
Testament
Greek
for
Christ.
The
first
letter
of the
Greek
word
Christos
is
transliterated
into our
alphabet
as an X.
That X
has come
through
church
history
to be a
shorthand
symbol
for the
name of
Christ"
Therefore,
It is my
immense
pleasure
to
invite
you to

our "
Generation
Christ"
revival.
